Once you decide to commence on a blog it is important to drive traffic. The ways to increase blog traffic in 2020 are the same as in the past few years. There are various ways by which one can get traffic, those are as follows:
- Quality Posts and SEO:
If your posts are unique it will bring uniqueness to your brand, and proper SEO optimization ensures that you tons of traffic for every post.
It is also very important to understand the need for social media optimization, and for optimizing posts for search engines and readers simultaneously.
- Push Notifications:
The visitors get a popup message by which they can subscribe to your blog posts. Once they subscribe, they will see every notification when you publish a new blog post
- Email Marketing:
You can use any email marketing service so as to let your visitors subscribe to your blog updates. If you are using WordPress, it is recommended to use the Jetpack plugin which lets your visitors subscribe to your blog posts.
It is one of my personal favorite ways by which you can drive traffic to your blog. It also helps in getting no-follow backlinks and one can create a relationship with other bloggers.
Commenting also helps in faster indexing of your site. As a search engine, bots find more links pointing to your site by which they could follow it to crawl and index the website faster.
Twitter is also a great way to where your posts go viral and you can get traffic to your sites. You need to tweet on a regular basis and retweet related and interesting stuff from other bloggers. You can use an analyzer tool to find trending topics.
- Social bookmarking Websites:
There are some social bookmarking websites like Reddit, Flipboard by which you can drive traffic to your website. One needs to understand first, how social bookmarking websites work and how to make the most out of them.
- Buy Traffic:
Buying traffic from places like Facebook, Reddit, Google AdWords, and other nativesad programs can also increase the website/blog traffic. One can buy traffic from Facebook and using the re-targeted technique as well.
I hope it helped!
